Coach John Wooden always said, “Failing to Plan is Planning to Fail.”

You might be thinking “I never had a job search plan before, why do I need one now?”

Your Job Search Plan helps you hit the bullseye and be on target with your job search.

My Job Search Plan is simple and only has 4 main steps. Feel free to copy it or change it to suit your personal situation.

STEP 1: MAKE GETTING A JOB YOUR JOB UNTIL YOU GET A JOB.

If you want to work full time, spend at least 40 hours per week applying for jobs, until you get a job

How many jobs should you apply for? As many as you can, that fit your skills or qualifications.

I suggest a minimum of 10-20 per day to start. That’s a lot if you’re doing it right. The good news is doing job applications online is much faster than the old way of stopping at businesses to fill them out.

Don’t let a day go by without at least applying for 5-10 jobs.

MAKE YOUR JOB GETTING A JOB UNTIL YOU GET A JOB.
